Recycled glassware
Our Torre glassware from Spain is made from recycled glass, but is far more stylish and functional than the cut-off bottle bases found in most green collections. The graceful shapes and softly green-hued glass complement all of our ceramic and glass dinnerware lines.

Telephone wire baskets
These remarkable baskets are made in South Africa from recycled telephone wire. Known as izimbenges, they were traditionally crafted from hand-dyed grass, using patterns and techniques passed on for generations. The artists form a community where the women work at home, enabling them to care for their families while earning a sustainable income.

Myrtlewood cutting boards
Myrtlewood is native to the state of Oregon. These boards are made by a company that produces high-quality lumber, flooring, and home accessories from underutilized Pacific hardwoods, obtained from forest restoration activities wherever possible. Many of the cutting boards are produced from waste timber that would otherwise be discarded.

Curved edge salad bowl
These bowls are produced from teak or mango wood that is native to Thailand and Indonesia, and harvested on plantations within its natural range. The wood is certified by the Ministry of Forestry, which assures that the product is from a source that practices sustainable forestry. Each bowl has its own unique grain, and is water-resistant and food-safe. Shown in teak; mango wood is a golden yellow-orange. Approximately 12" diameter. (This product is currently on backorder.)

Woven chip and dip server
Artisans in remote South Pacific villages rely on the sale of these trays and similar items to improve local access to better food, health care, and transportation. The collection is made from native water vines that grow back very quickly, so they can be harvested without depleting the environment. While much thinner than typical rattan, the vines are more durable and heat-resistant. The final products are light in weight and beautifully nuanced in color. Attractive woven tray wipes clean with a damp cloth, white porcelain insert can go in the dishwasher. 15.5" diameter. Price: $78.00

Hand-woven from fast-growing South Pacific water vines, these napkin baskets each hold two packages of paper napkins in standard cocktail beverage, luncheon, or guest towel sizes.

Kyoto organic linens
Irresistibly soft table linens from Bodrum are made of 100% organic cotton, grown in an environment free of pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers. Only low-impact dyes have been used to prevent water and soil exposure to harsh chemicals. The Kyoto design has a warm citrus palette with subtle aquatic-theme line drawings. Machine wash and dry.
