Most of us don't have the time or wherewithal to redecorate on a regular basis. But with a small investment and some imagination, just about anyone can use a vase of fresh flowers to transform a room. The vases on this page can also be used to produce dramatic arrangements with dried flowers, or placed alone or in small groups to enliven a shelf or tabletop. Whether you select one of these pieces as a gift for a friend or a present to yourself, you'll be offering hand-crafted color and charm to brighten someone's day.

Cylindrical silver foil vases
Slender glass vases with an Asian flair are created by Richard Jones of Wisconsin. Silver foil wrap with hand-painted decoration calls to mind an obi wrapped around a kimono. Tall vases vary in the shape of the top opening (straight sides, curved lip, and narrow neck) as well as height (13.5" to 15.5" tall). Medium vases are all styled with a curved lip as shown at right, and are about 7.5" tall.
